Cohort Coffee is a beanless coffee alternative with a fresh perspective because “we’ve bean there, done that.” Founders and native Ethiopians Ayana and Neburu Ali grew up witnessing how producing coffee negatively impacts farmers and the planet. Wanting to make a change, they created a natural, beanless coffee alternative by blending ancient techniques with modern innovation. 

The name and packaging design are inspired by the connection we have with the larger world and to each other. Cohort is “a beanless brew for a better tomorrow” and welcomes all coffee lovers who would like to be a partner in fighting climate change to “sip and feel good.”
